Care

Press the pause button – when you need to.

Not only children need care. At some point, parents, grandparents or other close relatives may need it too – perhaps only temporarily.

Information

Conditions

A leave of absence can be taken to care for the following family members: parents, grandparents, parents-in-law, spouse/cohabitant, life partner, siblings, children, step children and grandchildren. A medical certificate or other evidence of the person’s need for care is also required.

Without delay or bureaucracy

You can also request a leave of absence at short notice and are not required to adhere to application deadlines. Get in touch with your HR department. Together we’ll find a solution without delay or bureaucracy. A leave of absence for care always starts on the first of the month. You can find further information about taking a leave of absence in the leaflets in Downloads.

Help so that you can offer support

For care, Fresenius supports you with a flexible leave of absence of up to 6 months. The leave of absence is always taken in whole months. During your leave of absence, your salary can be between 75% and 125% of your regular salary.
