Private Patient Comfort

Those who are ill want the best possible care. PlusCard offers this security. With PlusCard, you enjoy the comfort of private health insurance during hospital stays, with treatment from the chief physician or a physician of your choice and accommodation in a two-bed premium room. The prerequisite is that the hospital is subject to the German National Hospital Rate Ordinance (Bundespflegesatzverordnung) or the German Hospital Fees Act (Krankenhausentgeltgesetz).

Specialist Appointment Service

PlusCard also offers you advantages when looking for a medical specialist: The service hotline provided by “Wir für Gesundheit” finds a suitable medical expert and organizes an appointment – even with a shorter waiting time. And, if you need to make an important medical decision and would like to get a second opinion, the service hotline will organize this too.

You can have PlusCard without a health check and regardless of your age. As a Fresenius employee, you can sign up to PlusCard through us – and you will also receive a Fresenius grant in the amount of €5 per month. You can also use the tariff-based future payment to fund the PlusCard.
